On our way to Ireland

Part of the fun of going on road trips is the getting there and experiencing new places. One such place is known as the Iron Gorge and is one of the birthplaces of the Industrial Revolution. The area was one of the primary sources for much of the coal and iron that fueled the early stages of the Revolution and is also the sight of the first bridge built entirely of Iron. There wasn’t much there outside of the bridge but it was rather impressive.

Now it’s on to Northern Wales before we catch a ferry for the rest of our Irish Christmas Holiday.
