Girl Power at the Pumpkin Patch

It’s a little comforting in the crazy world of expat-ing (is that a word?) to get to do something twice. To have an inclination of what is happening before it happens. It's not a feeling I have very often at the moment.

We had such a good time at the Bächlihof pumpkin patch last year that it was top of my list of fall activities to repeat. My thoughts of returning some of their hay from the hay bale maze from last year that is still stuck in my car, however, sadly, did not come to fruition.

This year’s theme was “Woman Power” and the sculptures included:
  • Pippi Longstocking
  • Mental load
  • Queen bee
  • Elsa the ice princess
  • Justicia with scales
  • Bertha Benz
  • Wandering Witch

They have a café to buy pumpkin themed treats or a whole host of pumpkin varieties to purchase as well.

And finally they have a hay maze / pit that the 10 and under crowd can climb in while the 40 and over crowd have a glass of wine.

The car will never be the same. Sigh.
