Ever since the wreath-falling-on-the-head incident of 2009, the girls have learned not to sleep directly below the pinecones.
We found a tree farm where we could cut down our own tree. Well, the staff actually use the saws, but it’s still alot fresher than any tree we’ve ever bought from Home Depot. Plus the farm named their trees. I just thought that was cool. As we walked through the rows of ‘Tom’ and ‘Rose’ and ‘Paris’, we saw a tree that we liked. When we got over to it & read the tag, we knew it had to be our tree.
We got it home and added the lights & ornaments to it. Then we realized that it was too tall to put the angel on, so Adam had to do a little post decoration trimming.
It’s going to be difficult to find the pickle this year...
Only one more week until Mom, Dad & Greg P arrive to help us celebrate the season!!
